We finally have a kitchen!
Almost exactly one-year later... we have a kitchen! Well, close to a kitchen. We still need baseboards and the art needs to be hung but whatever. I don’t have to make my own ice anymore so I’m calling it done enough for me!
We love how it came out. Gary has a collection of vintage Glenwood Hardy Fab Trays from the 60's that we are going to hang all over the walls.
I'd just like to say how nice it is to have a dishwasher and an ice maker again. You don't realize what an entitled bitch you've become until you have to make your own ice.
Special thanks to the fabulous Ms. Getz for the in-person appliance demonstration! Our dishwasher sends your phone a notification that it has completed and it orders its own soap. How extra is that?
I'm second most excited about the giant farm sink. I love it! It's massive and the perfect size for cleaning flowers and China
Gary did a great job of making a brand new kitchen fit into a 136-year-old house.
I'll post more pictures once we have it decorated.
